IDEA Health & Fitness Association (IDEA), the world’s leading organization for fitness and wellness professionals, is pleased to announce the creation of IDEA ASIA, a new licensing agreement that builds on the success of the IDEA Korea partnership. From 2020 to 2025, IDEA worked with Korean partners to produce the IDEA Korea Convention and IDEA Korea Summit, events that quickly became the region’s premier gatherings for fitness professionals. The new license, led by long‑time fitness entrepreneur Mr. Seunghwan Cho, will establish a regional headquarters for IDEA ASIA and deliver IDEA’s signature education, events and media throughout Asia.
As part of the agreement, Mr. Cho will organize the inaugural IDEA ASIA Summit in Seoul on December 12–13, 2026 and launch the IDEA ASIA Tour in 2027–2028, bringing regional events six times per year. In addition, IDEA ASIA TV will serve as the official media platform featuring interviews with prominent presenters, podcasts, educational content and brand stories, positioning IDEA ASIA as the gateway for fitness professionals, owners and brands entering Asian markets.
